Madison County jury sentences Carla Hughes to life without parole. Jury reaches decision in less than an hour. Hughes was convicted of murdering Avis Banksand her unborn child.

I HAVE BEEN LISTENING TO THIS WHOLE CASE THE WHOLE TIME.THERE FOR A WHILE I DIDN’T UNDERSTAND BUT NOW I DO.MY OPINION IS I KNOW ALOT OF US.THANK WE HONESTLY FEEL WHAT THAT FAMILY IS GOING THROUGH AND WE ACTUALLY DONT.I MEAN I FEEL SORRY FOR CARLA HUGHES B/C SHE DIDN’T STAND HER GROUND.THE MAIN ONE’S THAT WERE HURTING THROUGH ALL OF THIS AND THAT WAS MS BANKS FAMILY.BUT LIKE I HAD TO DO YRS AGO IS SIT AND TESTIFY ABOUT SOMETHING ON A STAND ABOUT SOMETHING THAT HAPPENED TO ME.AND THE WHOLE TIME THE PERSON WAS LOOKING DEAD AT ME.WITH THIS LOOK ON HIS FACE.THEN THEY SENTENCED HIM AND HE GOT OUT 2MONTHS LATER FOR WHAT HE HAD DONE TO ME.LIKE I DIDN’T MATTER WHAT SO EVER.I HAD TO GO AS FAR AS CHANGING MY APPERANCE AND EVERYTHING.BUT ALL WE CAN DO RIGHT NOW IS PRAY FOR ALL OF THEM TO GET THROUGH THIS PAIN AND HEARTACHE.I MEAN GOD HAS HELPED ME GET THROUGH ALOT OF HARD THINGS.SO I KNOW HE CAN HELP THESE FAMILY AS WELL.SO HONESTLY IT DOESN’T DO NO GOOD TO POINT FINGERS AT THIS PERSON AND THAT PERSON.THE ONE THING I HATE IS THAT SHE DIDN’T GET ON THAT STAND.AND EVEN IF SHE DID IT PROBABLY WOULD NOT MADE HAVE MADE A DIFFERENCE NOWAY.B/C THEY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE GOING TO DO.SO MAY YOU ALL HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY AND TAKE CARE.
Everyone let’s stop pointing fingers,saying what she should have done and being negative. No one really knows until they are in the same position. We all should be praying together that God will have mercy on all that is in the circle of this horrible murder. No one has the power of life or death in their hands but God. If you look at what happened to Job in the bible, the Lord allowed all those things to happen to him but He told satan not to touch his soul. God allows things to happen..It was God who allowed Carla another chance and to live. Death is of satan but the gift of God is eternal life. Please let ‘s not act this way because God had shown favor on her to spare her life. He who has not sinned cast the first stone. We all have sinned some way in our lives lied, cheated, fornication, adultry, murder, etc. Remember God is a just God. Look at the fact that Carla has been in jail for 3 long years..She just may be all cried out. We don’t know how many nights and how long she wept her tears in there. Where is the compassion from people? Look at the slander from people. If she did or not do it she is still a child of God..Just like everyone who is in that cirle are children of God. We all make mistakes some worse than others. Let’s pray for all families involved and ask God to allow us to accept His will for what has been done. To give all strength and a to have a closer walk with him. Remember…it’s nothing new under the sun and everything happens for a reason. May you all be blessed.

Ms. Hughes chose Keyon, she chose to get involved with a man that had a pregnant fiance, she chose to have sex with Keyon in Avis’ house, she chose to borrow a gun and knife from her cousin, she chose to get in her car and go to Ms. Banks house with the intent of killing Ms. Banks.
So….don’t claim that.

Hopefully, this will be a lesson to other young, too smart for their own good, ladies to not think they’re so much smarter and better than everyone else that they can plot and plan a murder and think they’ll get away with it because chances are you’ll end up just like Carla Hughes!!!

Okay. What was she thinking killing that pregnant lady? Did she think that she and Keyon were going to be together? I don’t see what she saw in him. She should feel like an educated fool. He has moved on with his life married and new baby and what does she get? to be somebodies girlfriend…..This is a lesson for all the women that are in a similar situation . Get out while you can.
