On shows like C-S-I, investigators solve crimes. But it’s not as easy as they make it look. For real-life detectives, it can be a grueling task. And it’s often extremely difficult for the victim’s families. In Hinds County, there have been no murders so far in 2010. Investigators have a good track record in solving these crimes. In fact, in the past ten years, investigators have solved 84-percent of the murder cases. Six remained unsolved. One of the most baffling is the 2002 murder of Anthony Richey. There have been almost no leads, no motive, and no real suspects since the 28-year old was killed.
