Who does Who Dat belong to?
Controversy over ownership of theThe battle cry of the Saints fans… is now at the center of a national controversy. The NFL claims it owns the rights to the phrase… and members of the “Who Dat” nation are saying… prove it. The league says it owns the rights, because of it’s close association with the Saints team. In New Orleans, some T-Shirt vendors have received notices telling them to stop selling the shirts with the phrase, team colors, and the teams symbol of the Fleur de Lis. But Saints fans are fighting back.
