Vicksburg police arrest a man accused of having thousands of dollars of a dangerous drug . They say it’s the first time the controlled substance has turned up in Mississippi. Police arrested Patrick Rraylor who they say had about 8 grams of Dmethyltryptamine also known as DMT. Vicksburg police are worried the new drug will replace crystal meth which is expected to be harder to to come by in the future because of new tighter laws.

I wonder what leads him to belief this will replace crystal meth besides pure speculation. Dmt is naturally occurring in hundreds of plants and is much easier to produce than meth. The fact is meth is much more addictive and harmful, and to say that Dmt poses the same public health risk is foolish. Dmt on the other hand is used by various religions in Central and South America for ceremonial purposes. Did they do any research?
Dr Rick Strassman did clinical studies at the University of New Mexico with DMT. Most participants in the study claimed experiencing an approaching white light and communication with non-human beings. When participants awoke, they were no longer afraid of death or doing it again.
This is completely safe under the right circumstances, your conscious leaves your body which remains right where you left it.
This is nothing like crystal meth, the experience is totally different, they obviously didn’t do their homework.
