Thousands of MS Soldiers Prepare for Iraq
More than 3,000 Mississippi Army National Guard soldiers are in training at Camp Shelby near Hattiesburg. For many members of The 55th Brigade Combat Team this will be their second trip away from home. The men and women will be deployed to Iraq in May. The 155th is made up of soldiers from 49 communities across the state. The last deployment was in 2005. during that time 14 Mississippi guardsmen died. We have a crew working on this story.
