Ridgeland Officer InjuredA Ridgeland police officer is injured after he’s struck by a fleeing suspect’s car.
Police say an officer attempted to stop a shoplifter in the parking lot of the Ridgeland Wal-Mart when the suspect pinned the officer against a car using his vehicle.
Another officer fired three shots, hitting the suspect who attempted to flee, but crashed his car across County Line Road in front of the Toys-R-Us. Both the suspect and the injured officer were rushed to the hospital.
No word on either of their conditions.

oh, it was the perp shot not the officer. thank God! still thoughts and prayers for the officer injured, and no love for the perp, don’t do the crime if ya can’t do the time, or in this case the bullet. whatever the outside of your skin my be.

Although I think Maggie Wade is the only bright spot they have going for them. This however has nadda thing to do with this topic, and my thoughts and prayers are with the officer shot, and his family.
Someone will find fault in the way that this was handled. If BERT CASE does an interview he will try every way possible to try to make the police look bad. I wish that WLBT would force him out of the news department.
