Preparing for the First Lady

This afternoon… students at Marshall Elementary will get an up close and personal look at just how important it is to stay fit and healthy. This initiative goes hand in hand with the program First Lady Michelle Obama plans to present when she visits the Magnolia state next month. Educators believe that if students are taught at an early age that it’s important to stay healthy and active, that those life lessons will remain with them for life. Coming up on News Channel 12 at 5… we’ll get reaction from students and school leaders about the new healthy initiative.

It was mentioned that “if Michelle Obama is serious about children’s health that she needs to start with her husband and his cigarette smoking”. What needs to be mentioned is that when Obama was running for office, his wife told him that he needed to stop smoking. This was said several months before he announced that he was running for President. He said that on one of the show—which I believe was 60 Minutes.

OK people; Michelle Obama is comimg to Jackson MS. I know most all of us aren’t fans of her old man. BUT show her a just a little hospitality. Let her get on stage & talk at lease 3 to 5 minutes before we all & the MS cotton farmers start bidding on her!!!

I agree about her being ugly. Her mouth looks like the Grinches, and she’s a horrible dresser.

What the hell does health have to do with how far your race has come?
For once in my life, I am not proud of the country’s first lady.
If Michelle is really serious about health she needs to start with her husband and his cigarette smoking. He is not showing a good example for his own children, much less, other children. Lets get real, get your own life in order before telling others how to live theirs.
