Nick’s Restaurant is Moving

In January nicks restaurant is reopening to Fondren. For nearly 26 years the restaurant has been on Lakeland Drive. The owner says the new location will give him a chance to revamp his business and appeal to a broader customer base. The business will be in the 3000 Fondren building that’s going up now. The development will also include office and retail space. Nick’s Restaurant owner says he was attracted to the area because of a buzz surrounding the Fondren community. “You have a community within the city limits of Jackson that is tenaciously inspired. They’ve got their own identity. And I think everybody there works really hard to improve that identity,“ said owner Nick Apostle. Apostle plans to close the restaurant in December for the holidays and reopen in it’s new location to make the transition easy for customers and employees.
