Murder Arrest
A Jackson murder suspect turns himself in to police.
23-year-old Jeremy Shedd was with his attorney when he surrendered Tuesday. He’s accused of killing 20-year-old old Bodi Howard.
He was shot several times on October 10th while walking down Hillside Drive near Mcdowell Road.
Howard collapsed on the street and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have not released a motive for the murder.

I have only known Jeremy for a short time but I also know people that are always around him and that speak of him. There is no way that Jeremy would have killed someone at all. Especially not a drive-by, like all the articles are saying. He is no where near as cold blooded as the articles make him sound. There had to be a reason and I am pretty sure he would not have killed a person purposely. I hope there is an update to this story that tells what actually happened because I just can’t see him committing such a cold blooded crime. I do however want to send my deepest sympathy to the family of Bodi Howard. No matter what happened, they have lost a loved one and are deeply affected by this tragedy.
There was a reason for Jemery to do what he did.Jeremy would never hurt anyone.Jemery is a friendley preson until you tried to hurt him our the ones he love.I have known Jemery almost all my life and i know that Jemery did not do this for no reason the man had to do something to Jemery at that time.Jeremy is a very loving and friendley person.
