Library Renamed
City council members vote to rename a Jackson Public Library in honor of a civil rights leader.
They approved naming the Northside Drive Library after late newspaper publisher Charles Tisdale.
He was at the helm of The Jackson Advocate a predominantly black newspaper.
He died in 2007.
