With the announcement that Oprah Winfrey’s show will end in 2011, many are recalling the impact she’s had in the last 25 years.
Jackson attornys Deshun, Kenya and Warren Martin appeared on the show in April 2007. They were the first set of triplets to graduate from the University of Mississippi School of Law.
Thanks to their unique accomplishment and their humble beginnings in Edwards, Mississippi, it spawned an invitation from Oprah.
“It was an eye opening experience to travel to Chicago and meet and interact with such an amazing woman,“ Kenya said. “And she’s a lot thinner in person.“
Warren said Oprah’s climb to the top is an inspiration to many, especially those that share her Mississippi heritage.
“She’s the richest woman in the world and to have achieved that level of success from where she began is unreal,“ he said. “She’s a beacon of light to this state.“
“We’re going to miss seeing her at 4:00 p.m. everyday on WJTV.“

Please ask your headline writer to use spellcheck.  “Attornies” should be spelled attorneys.
