First Lady Will Visit Two Schools

First Lady Michelle Obama will travel to Jackson this Wednesday. She will be joined by Governor Haley Barbour and Mississippi First Lady Marsha Barbour at two local schools. They’ll be discussing ways to promote healthy schools as part of the recently launched “Let’s Move!“ Campaign.
Mrs. Obama, Governor Barbour and First Lady Marsha Barbour will visit Pecan Park Elementary School to highlight the importance of physical activity by touring the school’s walking trail.
The next stop is Sam M. Brinkley Middle School where Mrs. Obama will hear from officials and experts about state and local efforts to combat childhood obesity. They will also hold a community event.

I fail to see how a free economy, since controlled by the ebb and flow of the available dollars, which in turn is controlled by jobs, is the responsibility of the governments executive branch. Would you like to explain how the president should control the fed, or should we get rid of the fed? Well which would create more jobs? Or should we do away with NAFTA, and raise the heck out of tariffs? Or should we open every border, and lower tariffs? Well which would create more jobs? Maybe we should give more tax incentives to toyota to open (or not open) plants- to the tune of $190,000.00 per job (no kidding, do the math). But we have budget shortfalls, so would that help us get jobs only to force cuts in education, or city services? Seriously, name one thing Bush could’ve done by himself to prevent this. Wasn’t it congressmen pushing for cheap sub-prime mortgages?
Once you see that job creation is no one persons fault, or responsibility, then you see why it takes everyone to do their part to fix the problem. In short, the economy collapsing, and jobs disappearing was not George W. Bushes fault. (he’s the one after Clinton)
Regardless to knowing the order of who was president has nothing to do with my comment. The fact is, the president inherits problems from the previous administration.
The two of you are not educated well enough to be political commentators- sorry. That is why you should have to test to vote, If you can’t name the last four presidents in order, pick up a book or something.

The one thing that has to be understood is that whether we are Republicans or Democrates, whoever the President is inherited the problems left behind by the previous administration. George Bush left office with a deficit and 2 wars. The first George Bush had stuff to clean up from when Clinton was in office. So all I am saying is to don’t blame the current President for something he inherited. In regards to him doing another term in office, Obama will not get it. We just have to be realistic. I would like to see it happen but it will not be.

In case ya’ll are wondering about my comments I am a black man that is a republican. Not all black people voted for obama. I am very concerned where this country is headed for the future. It dont look good with obama in charge.

TO bassman yes I do work and pay taxes nothing I get is free I work to have what I have my husband and I!!!!!!!! Something need to be done about the ones who are taken advantage of the system. Well everyone have they own opinion about Mr. Obama I’m glad that he is our president and there is nothing anyboby can do about all I can tell you is except it and get over it because I do believe he will be our President for the next not 4 but 8 years so u might as well deal with it.
