Educators in the Vicksburg-Warren County School District have developed a new way to help students and teachers prepare for the future. They are implementing a revoluntionary way to test both students...Education Innovation that’s what’s happening in the Vicksburg Warren School District. Instead of depending on standardized yearly tests, students are tested on core skills every nine weeks. If a student has not mastered the necessary skills at the end of this period, they’ll attend a special remediation week of classes. During that week, teachers will specifically target the students weak areas so they can finish their grade on time.
