Judge allows Hughes’ recorded statement to police to be played in court. Hughes made the statement to police in December of 2006. Hughes’s murder trial is underway in Canton, Mississippi. Hughes is accused of stabbing and shooting Avis Banks and her unborn baby. Banks was murdered outside her Ridgeland, Mississippi home in November 2006.

OK….after watching this, this girl may not be the most caring individual in the world over the death of another young lady, but she DEFINITELY needs to be in that courtroom whoopin and hollerin cuz she is NOT the murderer. This girl’s not the one, I pray this is not pinned on her
First of all! This video interview by the detective was ridiculous!! What was the point of having an interview with her if you didnt ask any important questions relating to the case.. Like did you murder Avis Banks??
He kept rambling and asking her the same ridiculous questions. That was a terrible detective and he needs to go back to school and learn how to be a better detective!!! Seriously this guy was HORRIBLE!!!!
Bridgett Matlocks husband needs to divorce her for cheating and lying. She went all the way to Detroit to cheat on him some more. If he stays with this lying cheater then he is a dummy. Bridgett has shamed her kids and her husband. She didnt shame herself because she looked very proud of what she had done to her poor husband and family.

Women keep choosing bad men and when a woman like Bridgett marries a good man she cheats on him with a dog like Keyon. Okay like I said before, lets be real people!!! If you saw what I saw then you should have common sense. First the detective for Ridgeland police said yesterday that he told her to come to the station and do a written statement. AGAIN, WRITTEN NOT ORAL.If you watched what I watched then you will clearly see that it didnt go down like that. Everytime she started to write, he said dont write that down.He was asking question pretaining to that night or evening, and she answered. The woman even showed her phone records in her own phone where she had call him or he called her. Why would a guilty person let a detective see your own “personal phone”?I know if I was guilty for killing somebody i wouldnt let a soul see my phone.I’m being real. Im from Canton and I wouldnt snitch on nobody let alone myself. So tell me people whats sticking to her. Also Ms. Bridgett did have a relationship with Pittman,before and 8 months after the shooting. Can u say suspect? She couldnt keep her lie straight either.Be real if Carla was a suspect and not around Pittman, how come Bridgett’s not one and she was in his face that night or evening?
