Jackson police need your help finding two men who held-up “Secrets,“ an adult bookstore.  The owner is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to their capture.  They have surveillance video of the armed robbery.  One of the men held a gun to the owner’s head, while the other stole the money.

Police believe the same men robbed the A-One Food Mart on Raymond Road on Monday.

Kulwinder Kaur, the store owner, says the thieves stole $6,000 and got away with the surveillance video.  She says one thief fired two shots from a pistol, one of which almost hit her leg.

“[They said] if you don’t open the register, I shoot you,“ she said.  “Then he hit me [in the head], two times.“

Kaur says she pressed a button underneath the counter that alerts 911, but no one responded.  She says she even called 911 after the thieves left, but no one answered.  She says it was only after her husband arrived that she was able to get through.

“He got all the money from the register, the money in the bottom,“ she said.

Kaur says she can’t afford to pay for a security guard.  It’s the forth time they’ve called the police because of a crime happening in their store, but this time, she’s happy to be alive.
