YMCA To Host A Spring Gala
The Farish Street YMCA will hold a spring gala Thursday (5/28) to raise money and awareness about its services.
The event is 5:30 -8 p.m. at Smith Robertson Museum and Cultural Center.
There will be food, a silent auction and live entertainment.
The Farish Street YMCA serves families and children in inner-city Jackson. It is a branch of the Metropolitan YMCAs of Mississippi, which has five membership locations and four child-care locations across the metro area and is a not-for-profit organization that depends on contributions from local businesses and individuals, according to a news release.
