Dress for Success Metro Jackson Prepares for “Little Black Dress” Event
This fabulous event will recognize and honor outstanding women as well as an organization in our community who has made great impacts in the lives of others through their community and charity work.
Our 2009 honorees are:
o Donna Ladd, Editor-in-Chief, Jackson Free Press
o Catherine Lutz, First female Brigadier General (MS National Guard)
o Mary Hill, Executive Director Jackson Public Schools and President National School Nutrition Association
o Habitat for Humanity Metro Jackson
This event will feature a “silent” auction, great food, music and much more. We are also calling on local and national celebrities to donate black dresses for a live auction, so the night is expected to be exciting! News Channel 12’s Linda Allen and Erin Pickens have donated dresses. Victoria Rowell, who played Drucilla Winters on the CBS soap The Young & The Restless, has also donated a dress.
