Lights up at Brandon’s Black Rose Theatre

Brandon, MS -- The second week of Black Rose Theatre's production of Ron Clark's A Bench in the Sun will start Thursday. Performances will be held at 7:30pm Thursday, Friday and Saturday (November 13-15) and at 2:00pm on Sunday, November 16th. Reservations can be made by calling 601-825-1293.

Here's a summary of the play: Harold and Burt, longtime friends, live in a retirement home and spend their days on a bench in the garden bickering. A once famous actress has just moved in, giving them something new to argue over. When they learn that the home is about to be sold and they will have to find a new residence, the three join forces to prevent this upsetting development.
