Kanye West Tells Jay Leno He Needs Time Off After VMAs

Kanye West has told Jay Leno that he’s going to take some time off for reflection after ruining Taylor Swift’s night at the MTV Video Music Awards. West said Monday that he knew he was wrong as soon as he handed the microphone back to Swift. He had interrupted Swift on Sunday night as she accepted a best female video award to argue that Beyonce was more deserving. West told Leno: “It was rude, period.“ The rap star had already apologized twice to Swift on his blog and said he wants to apologize in person. He says he wants to take time off and analyze “how I’m going to make it through the rest of this life.“ He had already been set to perform on Leno’s first primetime show on NBC but asked for time to talk with the controversy swirling.

So now that he has apologized, what would you all like for him to do? The purpose of this article was to announce how he had already apologized, but evidently that isn’t enough for the majority. All these little Disney princesses can run around flicking naked pictures of one another and have them posted on the internet. One apology, and they’re back to being kiddie-idols. Kanye is talented, and I have never once heard him profess to be anyone’s idol. I will not deny that he has some severe issues, but don’t we all? We’re the ones feeding into it, searching, googling, blogging. Endlessly commenting until we’re at each others throats. No one is better than anyone else here. We will all receive the same fate. I’m sure every last one of you has a dirty little secret. Enjoy escaping the reality of your miserable lives and using him as your punching bag. Today Kanye, tomorrow someone else. A small price to pay for “celebrity” status I suppose. This was my first official rant. I enjoyed it and now I feel better without using any installment loans.
