The 1940s Radio Hour is a play with music by Walton Jones. Full of 1940s music, dancing and old-time sound effects the play portrays the final holiday broadcast of the Mutual Manhattan Variety Cavalcade on the New York radio station WOV in December 1942.

In Lilies of the Field, Homer, an aimless ex-GI takes a temporary handyman job at a Southwestern farm maintained by five German nuns. It is the cherished dream of the Mother Superior to build a chapel. She is convinced that the personable Homer has been sent from Above to help her realize her dream. He protests loudly and rudely, but she will not be dissuaded. How Homer accomplishes her goal, endears himself to the surrounding townsfolk, and avoids an arrest for a previous crime, comprises the heart of Lilies of the Field.

One of the most beloved characters of American fiction, Tom Sawyer is a force of nature -- whether he's sneaking out of his Aunt Polly's house at night to visit the graveyard, or duping his playmates into white-washing a fence, or stealing a kiss from the ravishing Becky Thatcher, or taking a stand against the murderous Injun Joe. Tom's small-town adventures on the banks of the Mississippi are the magical essence of childhood, a joyous leap into the great river of time and memory.

In A Bad Year for Tomatoes, TV actress Myra Marlowe moves to a small town to escape the pressures of her glamorous life, and is met by some very quirky and strange townspeople. She invents a crazy sister, Sis Sadie, to try and scare them off, but when they come to look for her and can't find her they believe Myra has murdered Sadie, and then the FUN begins.
