WASHINGTON (AP) - It sounds like the government will take help
on how to stop that oil spill wherever they can get it. Like with
James Cameron. He has a fertile imagination and he's into techie
things, including dealing with the ocean. So, federal officials
hope maybe he can dream up ideas about how to plug the oil that's
spewing into the Gulf of Mexico. Cameron was with a group of
scientists and other experts yesterday. They met with officials
from the Environmental Protection Agency and other federal agencies
for a brainstorming session on stopping the massive oil leak. Along
with directing blockbusters like "Avatar" and "Titanic,"
Cameron is considered an expert on underwater filming and remote
vehicle technologies.
